KID MIN 0-Kindergarten

At Christ Church Beaches, children are valued and welcome and are included in every part of our life together. Whether they are dancing in the aisles, crying, talking, laughing during community group, or sitting quietly during the service, this is a place where they belong. As we begin to provide different modes of pouring into your children, please know they are always welcome in the service and in our groups in whatever state they come.
However, for those families who would like to send their children to an age specific setting on Sunday mornings, during corporate worship we have nurseries for 0-walking and walking to 2, and classes for 3-5 (K). All 1st grade and up join in the corporate worship of the church. In these classes, there will be a lesson specifically geared toward their age group in which they hear about God, how he loves them and how Jesus came and is our rescuer. We are currently using the curriculum Teach Me To Worship which moves through the typical parts of a reformed worship service week by week. During this time, there will be age-appropriate activities and games along with the Bible story and lesson.
As part of their discipleship and formation, all kids 3 years old and up join in corporate worship on the first Sunday of each month.
Where will these classes be? What can I expect?
These classes gather each in their own building on the grounds of the Beaches Historic Chapel. There will be a minimum of two childcare workers in each class who will intentionally love and care for your children while sharing with them the gospel and how God loves them through age appropriate lessons and stories. Our childcare workers are all background checked and trained and are made up members of our church supported by paid childcare workers.
